Braces

braces in Cincinnati

Braces continue to be the most popular orthodontic treatment, and with good reason. They continue to be an effective way to treat even the most challenging issues and they have come a long way in the last 15-20 years.

Braces overall are much more comfortable. The small elastic bands that attach the archwires to the brackets come in a variety of colors, giving kids a fun way to express themselves. And the braces themselves come in different materials and can be applied in different ways.

Traditional Braces

Made with medical-grade stainless steel, these workhorses of the orthodontic world will fix everything from slight crowding to severe spacing issues. And with smaller brackets and wires being used now, they are more comfortable and less obtrusive.

Clear Ceramic Braces

If you need the power of silver braces but don’t want them to be as noticeable, clear braces may be just what you need. Instead of silver brackets and wires, these braces have clear ceramic brackets and lighter-colored wires, which blend in better with your teeth. And some patients think the ceramic brackets are more comfortable than metal brackets.

Lingual Braces

For those patients who truly do not want anyone to see their orthodontic treatment, we offer lingual braces. The brackets and wires in these unique braces are mounted to the back of the teeth, so your treatment is completely invisible, but is equally as effective as traditional braces.

How Much Are Braces in Cincinnati?

The average cost of traditional braces ranges from $3,500 to $7,000, and clear and lingual braces can be higher. Not only does the cost depend on your location and the orthodontist you choose, it also depends on the severity of the issues you want to fix and how long treatment will take.

At Tretter Orthodontics, we do our best to make braces affordable for everyone by taking different forms of payment, offering payment plans, and accepting orthodontic insurance.
